xTool Seigaha ink pot holder
Using Oak, we make an ink pot holder with a 3d Seigaha pattern.
We can caveat the process by mentioning that the lid was open whilst cutting for filming purposes. The dust/smoke extraction when closed is remarkable! Yes, we also should have used masking tape to avoid sanding the surface, but it took too much away from the filming of the pattern engraving.

Always trailing sawdust and shavings, it was time for a mat, but we couldn't just have a plain mat, could we!? We used our C500 WID laser from Graphtec UK to produce our logo onto a Coir mat, and we think it turned out great!

I can’t imagine trying to cut miter key slots with a hand saw. I loved watching the craftsmanship.
Thank you. We find them to be a little nicer than table saw cut ones. We’ve done them on a bandsaw with a jig too.
@@keiyosa3404 interesting. I haven’t tried a bandsaw. I’ve been cutting mine on a bench top router table, and side cutter bits of various thicknesses, along with a jig.

Hi John. Thanks for the comment. In all honesty we’ve recently fallen out of favour with the French clear system. It initially seemed like a great idea but for several reasons we’ll be changing it.

i think this is verry nice and respect to the guy who made it. The only Problem is that stuff like this can be easyly made with a CNC and allmost nobody will see the diffrence. Its nice to have it for your own and getting remembert to the process of manufacturing it when u look at it, but there are just a few people who would really honor the efford going in to handcrafted stuff like this and pay the Price for it.
NOOOOOO....don't cut on that beautiful peel.
I'm not even a fan of woodworking in general, but I will always stop what I am doing to watch a master ply his or her craft. There's something very engaging about it.
